Migrant Health Introduction
ScotPHN hosted an extensive resource related to migrant health on its previous website. Since 2009 when the resource was developed, the CoSLA Strategic Migration Partnership has developed its own resource. ScotPHN therefore recommends visitors to this site and its comprehensive range of material – CoSLA Strategic Migration Partnership.
ScotPHN has maintained some of the previous material from its action resource:
- the report Scottish Perspective on Evidence and accompanying literature review (available on this page);
- links to relevant data, information and statistics sources; and
- contacts with an interest in migrant worker health are listed for most health board areas as well as local reports.
As part of a review of the ScotPHN resource, guidance for public health on migrant health has been developed and published in February 2016.
